Completing his MBA (Executive) in Project Management from Kuvempu University in 2012, Deepak’s ambitions were not confined to the traditional business world. Driven by an insatiable passion for film, he pursued a diploma in Film Acting and Direction at Pune, setting the stage for his illustrious career in cinema.
Rising Through the Ranks
Deepak’s professional journey began in 2013 as an Associate Director. He quickly made a name for himself by working on over 50 albums with Vijay Enterprises Audio & Video Company and Jehankar Audio Co., alongside the esteemed editor Mr. Amar Jain. His versatility extended beyond music, encompassing commercial ad films and documentaries for Bombay Agencies.
In 2018, Deepak’s career took a significant leap as he was elected Secretary of the Film Bureau of Karnataka Association in Hubli. His role involved organizing film festivals, conducting workshops, and providing consultation and distribution services, further solidifying his influence in the industry.
A Visionary Producer and Director
The year 2018 also marked a milestone in Deepak’s career with the establishment of his own production house, “SHOWMAN MEDIA CREATIONS & PRODUCTIONS.” With the guidance of his mentor, Bollywood actor/director Mr. Anil Nagrath, Deepak produced and directed the acclaimed Sandalwood children’s tele-movie, “JAYASHALI MAKKALU,” which garnered awards for Best Children’s Tele Movie and Best Child Artist at the Hamsa Film Festival in December 2018.
His achievements didn’t stop there. Deepak served as the Film Festival Director for the Karnataka International Film Festival (KIFF-2021), organized by the Nava Karnataka Film Academy in Dharwad. His leadership and vision brought a new level of excellence to the festival.

Deepak’s versatility shines through in his roles as an executive producer, associate director, and casting director for the hit Sandalwood movie “CHOTA BOMBAY,” where he also made his acting debut as Shankru. His ability to juggle multiple roles while speaking several languages highlights his extraordinary range as a young actor and filmmaker.
