Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust

Tiruvannamalai, Andhra Pradesh – Amidst the noise of modern life and the rush of material pursuits, there exists a sacred silence—a space where hearts are healed, hunger is erased, and traditions are honored. That space is called Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust, founded on 6th October 2012 by a man of rare conviction, Sri Madakala Vasudeva Reddy.

Rooted in the eternal values of Sanatana Dharma, this Trust is not just an institution—it is a spiritual movement, a flame that carries forward the light of compassion, truth, and collective upliftment.

A Life Forged in Sacrifice, Lit by Dharma

Born into a humble family, Sri Vasudeva Reddy chose education as his weapon and compassion as his path. A Postgraduate in Political Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University, he was the first in his family to cross that milestone—only to use it not for personal gain, but for the good of others.

In 2001, during the Badvel by-elections, he stirred history by demanding and securing a polling booth for Scheduled Castes, a right denied for over two decades. With support from leaders like Dr. V. Sivaramakrishna Rao and Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, he stood firm against injustice.
It wasn’t just a political act—it was an act of Dharma. It was the beginning of a lifelong mission to serve the voiceless and uphold truth.

A Temple That Feeds Souls, A Trust That Builds Futures

At the sacred core of the Trust lies the Sri Raja Rajeswari Ammavari Temple, a place not just of prayer, but of purpose. Every day, prasadam is lovingly prepared and distributed, bringing spiritual nourishment to all who walk through its gates.

Attached to the temple is a Goshala—a sanctuary for 70+ cows, each cared for with reverence and joy. Here, feeding a cow is not an obligation; it is a spiritual offering, an ancient bond between humans and the divine.

Guided by Eternal Values

  • Seva (Service): Service here is worship—done in silence, without expectation.

  • Dharma (Righteousness): Inspired by scriptures, practiced in daily action.

  • Equality: Everyone is welcome. Everyone is family.

  • Unity: Rituals, food, festivals—all become instruments of togetherness.

Integrity in Action, Sincerity in Every Step

Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust is built on transparency and trust. Every donation is accounted for. Every rupee is turned into action—feeding the hungry, caring for cows, supporting rituals, and more.

There are no hidden agendas, no political ambitions—only unwavering commitment to truth and seva.

From Political Reform to Spiritual Revolution

In 2004, after tasting early success in public service, Sri Vasudeva Reddy chose a quieter, nobler path. He stepped away from politics—not in defeat, but in realization.

He believed, and still believes, that lasting change begins not in parliaments but in people’s hearts. And that education, service, and dharma are the real instruments of transformation.

His simple yet powerful message echoes through the Trust’s work:
“Let no child be denied learning. Let no being be left unfed. Let every soul be lifted by love.”

You Can Be a Part of This Sacred Journey

At Sri Sri Ramanuja Trust, everyone has a role to play. Whether it is:

  • Offering support for Goseva (cow protection)

  • Volunteering during Annadanam (food service)

  • Attending Pournami Poojas and community rituals

  • Or simply visiting the temple for a moment of peace

—your presence adds to the energy of this movement. Here, seva becomes sadhana, and your support becomes a step towards a better world.

One Man’s Vision, Thousands of Lives Transformed

This is not the story of one temple. This is not the story of one man.
This is the story of what happens when faith is lived, when truth is defended, and when service becomes sacred.

Sri Madakala Vasudeva Reddy’s life reminds us all that real leadership lies not in speeches, but in sacrifices; not in titles, but in actions.
